A quick description of our logo is that it is a tetrahedron inside a circle with the words 'Excellence in mind, body, spirit -- Mastery in serving others', along the whole perimeter of the circle. Let's begin at the center of this image, by exploring the meaning of the tetrahedron first, and then working our way outward. As most people know an equilateral triangle is the symbolic representation of God. When the triangle moves out of the unmanifested into the manifested state in the three dimensional world, a tetrahedron is formed. Just like the equilateral triangle which makes up its mantle, the tetrahedron is the very incarnation of harmony and equilibrium. Since each of its corner points is equally distant from each of the others, there is no strain or tension in a tetrahedron, but rather a condition of rest in equilibrium. By way of contrast, the corner points of a cube, just like those of the square, lie at different distances from each other, and this means that both in the square and the cube there is a condition of everlasting stress. The matter in our three-dimensional world is generally built up in cubic form, but hidden within itself it contains the form of the tetrahedron based on divine equilibrium. Matter cannot exist without the divine content. Thus hidden and invisible within our material body is the higher, divine Self and life. Humanity is able to manifest its higher Self through our thoughts, words and actions, when we identify our consciousness not with the body but with its divine spiritual content, with the Self. Of course the tetrahedron can suggest many more interpretations, for example, the 4 sides of the tetrahedron can represent the 3 sides of mind, body, spirit resting on heart which forms the 'base' -- the foundation -- which holds the structure upright. Another interpretation sees the tetrahedron as representing the current transition of or 3rd density planet to a soon to be 4th density planet, etc., but since this is just a brief introduction to the tetrahedron, let's stop here. Most people are familiar with the meaning and significance of a circle, so we won't spend too much time explaining that. Suffice it to say that the circle around the tetrahedron represents completeness, integration, totality. The 9 words 'Excellence in mind, body, spirit -- Mastery in serving others' which are inscribed around the perimeter of the circle, are meant to give one the 'how to' best achieve this goal of completeness (represented by the circle). A complete education and pursuit of excellence in physical, mental and spiritual development must be passionately engaged, in one's daily life. However, although one works and applies himself/herself towards achieving in all areas of life, represented by all that mind body, and spirit encompasses, true Mastery is only achieved by helping others; by showing love, kindness, and compassion towards those around us; by serving others, and being humble. Only thus can the negative qualities of self -- centeredness, pride, fear, and selfishness that all the world's faiths warn us about, be put to rest, and true completeness achieved. Then the Self in the center of each human being can finally be revealed. So, as you can hopefully see from this brief introduction, our logo suggests putting Divine Content in the center first - where it belongs -- and then passionately pursuing excellence in physical, mental and spiritual development, always remembering that true completeness and Mastery are only achieved by serving others and remaining humble at all times. |
