"The fox knows many things, but the hedgehog knows one big thing."

The ancient Greek poem fragment above, describes the main difference between the wholistic approach of the ATP program and most other personal development programs.

In his classic 1953 essay entitled The Hedgehog and the Fox, Isaiah Berlin notes that the fox sees all issues as separate, each to be solved on its own terms. Although the fox can look with great insight, he (or she) never sees any reason for assuming that this condition is related to that condition.

In contrast, the ATP program provides a hedgehog's view of life which sees issues as connected and related. Isaiah Berlin notes that the hedgehog believes in a single organizing principle, and his (or her) inclination is to pull both this and that, no matter how scattered they seem, into one unifying vision.
